Bruce Mellesmoen

Bruce Mellesmoen is a Coordinator with Prairie Spirit School Division (PSSD) located in Warman, Saskatchewan. His belief that a learning culture is built through meaningful relationships is modelled in his leadership, writing, and speaking. During his 25 years in the field of education, Bruce has taught at all levels from K to 12 in Canada and the Cayman Islands and was an in-school administrator from 2008 - 2022. An empathic leader, he is intentional in his interactions with staff, students, and parents, believing that every encounter is an opportunity to strengthen relationships. Through his work as a certified leadership coach with ICF, he appreciates the impact a person can have by listening with intention and asking the right question. Creator of the blog, What Do YOU Think?, Bruce stresses the importance of developing a deep and thorough understanding of every person we work with. His written work and presentations are rich with real-life examples that include stories of his learning and how he has impacted those who work with him.
